Mexico is a state with an important archaeological tourism, a place full of things to explore and be part of this kind of tourism, is Riviera Maya.
There are a lot of Mayan sites throughout this city and the parks of Xel-Ha and Xcaret are the destiny for many tourists who are interested on these attractive structures.
Nobody actually knows how many Mayan ruins are out there, most of them are under brush waiting for being discovered. There are three sites, Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum.
Tulum is a small site, it has an excellent beach for swimming, and it also has amazing stores for shopping.
Coba is deep in the jungle, there is a lot more to see here than in Tulum, such as large temples and pyramids.
Chichen Itza it is one of the most grandiose in all Mayan world, there you will have a tourist service including restaurants, museums and stores.
This kind of tourism is really amazing and catching, you will love it.
