The most exciting tour in Holbox: Whale Shark Watching

Whale shark watching is one of the most exciting activities that you can do in Holbox, during the months of May to September. This shark is not danger, and many companies or hotel offers different tours to see them and to swim with them.

 

You can do snorkeling for two hours in the area where these animals are, the activity is in couple and it last 10 minutes. You can take as many pictures as you want, but you can’t dive with the whale sharks.
After this tour, there is a stop in the area of Cabo Catoche, where you can practice snorkeling and then the launch back to Holbox. This tour includes snorkel equipment, snacks and a buffet in Faro Viejo’s restaurant. After the meal you have an hour free to walk around the Holbox.
This experience is marvelous and the most exciting experience in the state of Quintana Roo, these creatures are unique and beautiful, and you will love them.
