Nature's refuge; here you will find countless mountains and valleys, streams, forests, and small villages where rural life seems to have firmly taken root, preserving the customs of old. Badiraguato, the “stream of the mountains” according to its indigenous name, is the second-largest municipality in the State by area.

Begin your tour of Badiraguato in the heart of its Historic Center, visiting the Plazuela Miguel Hidalgo, surrounded by green gardens and featuring a traditional colonial kiosk in its center.

Around the plaza you can find the Municipal Palace and the Iglesia San Juan Bautista, places you cannot miss visiting.

PARQUE LA ALAMEDA Located on the banks of the Badiraguato River, it has several attractions, such as two volleyball courts, a soccer field, a children's play area, tables, grills, a zip line, a lookout high in a tree, a small dock, palapas, and two lakes.

SURUTATO Pine and oak forests open to the north of Badiraguato, forming a beautiful garden to escape to when one longs for contact with nature.

IGLESIA SAN JUAN BAUTISTA Built in the mid-19th century, it reflects the great history that surrounds the faith of the people of Badiraguato.

CENTRO ECOTURÍSTICO EL PERICO Near Surutato is the El Perico Ecotourism Center, where wooden cabins are rented for weekend stays to enjoy an enriching rural tourism experience.
