The coast stretches towards Sian Ka’an to the north and Xcalak to the south. Gentle water and colourful marine life offer opportunities for swimming and snorkelling, with rays, turtles and reef fish among the species found in the area.
Explore by kayak, cycle along the waterfront towards the lighthouse, or stop at the beach clubs, restaurants and cafés along the malecón. The lighthouse is also a scenic place to watch the sunrise.
